The player controls the promenade of a group (initially three) of small birds out for a stroll while a pastoral meadow scrolls beneath their little feet, motivating them to jump up and above ground obstacles by rolling the mouse cursor over them.
There are also obstacles in the air, however, including wasps that sting the little birds, but health bonuses also hover in that area, unlockable only to the player who manages to touch a given bonus three times, once with each of the three birds.
Touching obstacles lowers a health bar which, when fully depleted, ends the walk, though as in Gauntlet II, just walking wears the birds down, making some nominal effort at pursuing the bonuses necessary.
